Face to face classes are resuming in May 2021. All government guidelines are being followed regarding social distancing and cleanliness. A risk assessment can be obtained when you enquire regarding joining classes.

  • New attendees for face to face classes Click here to email me . I will send you an online compulsory health questionnaire to help me understand any personal physical requirements and we can arrange an online consultation to establish the best way I can help you (either FaceTime or Zoom) and go over some basic technique and essential exercises. No taster sessions will be available within a class anymore due to severely restricted class numbers. This will be charged at £15 will take approximately 45 minutes and is payable in advance via a bank transfer.

  • The number of people booked into a face to face class is strictly controlled to comply with social distancing.

  • All private and immersion course coaching is done remotely and can be arranged by completing this form. At present these are being done via FaceTime and Zoom.

  • Pilates exercises are very precise and progress along with your own development of strenghth, endurance and stability

  • There will remain in place an online element to my teaching. This has proven to be a very valuable addition and the benefits are manyfold (flexibility, catch up classes, multiple classes a week, access while on holiday). School half terms will be covered by online classes only, offering everyone flexibility to continue classes but at times to suit themselves. Particularly useful for mums of school age children, teachers who can only go on holiday at these times and grandparents that may be required to help out with their grandchildren.

  • Payment for classes has changed to a monthly standing order payment system, payments being on the 1st of every month. Unfortunately, cheques and cash will no longer be accepted due to their unhygienic nature. Class costs are calculated on 44 weeks, where teaching will be covered by face to face classes and online support. Of these 44 weeks, 5 full weeks (mostly school holiday time) will be online only. This cost will be averaged out to 12 equal monthly payments.

  • Clients will have access to online classes 52 weeks a year

  • Monthly costs are £35. I offer a discounted rate for people of state retirement age attending daytime classes which is £22 per month.

  • I will not chase payments. Unfortunately, if a payment is not made classes and online access will cease immediately.

  • Classes will now be 50 minutes long to enable safe class change over and give me time to disinfect the room between classes.

  • For the foreseeable future I will no longer be able to provide mats and equipment for class. Class attendees will be required to provide their own essential pilates kit. This consists of: A mat, a pilates sitting block (possibly a head block if the position of your cervical spine requires it), a 9" soft ball, an exercise band and a tennis ball. I would recommend 'pilates mad' to get your equipment. Exercise station set up is photographed below. A large towel (yoga or beach) is required for each class to place at the top of the mat so that your arms and hands do not come into contact with the floor.

  • Please wear close fitting exercise wear and socks for class (no shoes)

  • At present classes are held in Nettleham, Ingham, Glentworth, and Welton.

    I am providing a chair class online at present, aswell as a standing class for those that can.

  • These classes are especially designed for people who have less mobility than standard, or feel uncomfortable laying on the floor for any length of time.

  • Great physical and psychological benefits can be attained in chair based classes. These classes are friendly and informal but at the same time offer important exercise benefits to a group of people who are largely undercatered for in terms of suitable exercise options.

  • Exercises have been especially adapted so that they can be performed sitting on a chair or standing while being supported by the chair.

  • No one is expected to do more than they feel comfortable with.

  • Monthly payment structure as above, £22 per month.
